Yacht rental in Sharjah, Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah

Yacht rental in Sharjah, Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah starts at about AED 700 per hour and is arranged through local operators rather than from our own berth. The water north of Dubai is quieter, cheaper and considerably less busy on a Friday afternoon.

Sharjah's charter activity centres on the Al Khan lagoon and the Corniche, with dinner cruises running past Al Noor Island and the Eye of the Emirates. It is a shorter, gentler sail than Dubai and the pricing reflects that. There is also a genuine cultural difference to be aware of: Sharjah is a dry emirate and no alcohol is served on any boat there.

Ajman is smaller again — a corniche, a creek and a fishing harbour — and works best as a half-day out rather than a destination charter. Boats here are mostly local, mostly modest, and mostly booked by residents.

Ras Al Khaimah is the one worth travelling for, and the reason is fishing. The grounds off RAK are less pressured than anything near Dubai and the boats are set up for it. An hour and a half up Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road gets you to a very different day on the water.

What is included

  • Crewed boat, fuel and harbour fees
  • Named local operator confirmed before you commit
  • Route planning across Al Khan, the Corniche and Al Noor Island
  • Fishing tackle and bait on RAK charters
  • Transfer coordination from Dubai where you want it

Worth knowing

  • Sharjah is a dry emirate. No boat operating there serves alcohol, regardless of what is arranged elsewhere.
  • Northern-emirate charters usually want a day or two more notice than Dubai — the fleets are smaller.
  • For fishing, RAK beats everything closer to Dubai between October and May.

Options

Ways to do this

  • Sharjah lagoon cruise

    2 hours

Al Khan lagoon, the Corniche and Al Noor Island from the water. Calm, cheap and short.

  • Sharjah dinner cruise

    2 hours with dinner

A dhow-style dinner sailing past the Eye of the Emirates. No alcohol served, as everywhere in the emirate.

  • Ajman corniche charter

    Half day

A quiet stretch of coast with a working fishing harbour at one end. Local boats, local prices.

  • Ras Al Khaimah fishing

    4 to 8 hours

The northern grounds, an hour and a half from Dubai. Better fish and far fewer boats than anywhere south.

FAQ

Questions people ask

How much is yacht rental in Sharjah?
From about AED 700 per hour through local operators, cheaper than the equivalent boat in Dubai Marina. Sharjah charters are shorter and more sheltered, which suits a two-hour lagoon cruise better than a full day.
Is there a dhow dinner cruise in Sharjah?
Yes, running from the Al Khan lagoon past Al Noor Island and the Eye of the Emirates with a buffet dinner. No alcohol is served — Sharjah is a dry emirate and that applies on the water as on land.
Can you rent a yacht in Ajman?
Yes, though the fleet is small and mostly local. Ajman works best as a half-day corniche charter rather than a destination. Expect modest boats and prices below Dubai.
Where are the best fishing trips in Ras Al Khaimah?
The offshore grounds north of the RAK harbour, reachable on a four to eight-hour charter. They are less fished than anything near Dubai and hold better kingfish and cobia between October and May.
Do you operate your own boats in Sharjah?
No. We berth in Dubai Marina and arrange northern-emirate charters through local operators, whom we name before you pay anything. It is an introduction, not a rebrand.
