Al Seef dhow cruise
An Al Seef dhow cruise costs from AED 119 per person for two hours with dinner and boards at the restored Al Seef waterfront on the Bur Dubai side of the Creek. Same water as the Deira cruises, a newer boat, and a far more pleasant place to wait.

Al Seef is the stretch of Bur Dubai waterfront rebuilt in coral stone and wind towers a few years ago, running from the abra station down towards the Creek mouth. It looks like old Dubai because it was built to, and the effect is more convincing at night than the photographs suggest.
As a boarding point it is the best of the four. There is parking, there are cafés to sit in beforehand, the promenade is lit, and you are not standing on a busy road waiting for a boat. Families and anyone arriving early should choose this over Deira for that reason alone.
The cruise itself covers the same Creek — the wharfage, the souks, the abras — from the opposite bank. Boats are newer than the Deira fleet and the buffet is a step up, which is what the extra AED 20 buys.

What is included
- Two hours on the Creek from the Bur Dubai bank
- Buffet dinner with a wider spread than the Deira boats
- Unlimited soft drinks, water, tea and Arabic coffee
- Tanoura performance mid-cruise
- Boarding at a lit, restored waterfront with cafés and parking
Worth knowing
- Come thirty minutes early and walk the Al Seef promenade — it is worth the time on its own.
- The abra station next door crosses to Deira souk for AED 1 if you want the old city before dinner.
- This is the easiest of the four boarding points to reach by car.

FAQ
Questions people ask
- How much is the Al Seef dhow cruise?
- From AED 119 per person for two hours with a buffet dinner and unlimited soft drinks. That is AED 20 more than the Deira Creek cruises, and buys a newer boat and a better buffet.
- Where is the Al Seef dhow cruise boarding point?
- On the Al Seef waterfront in Bur Dubai, along the restored coral-stone promenade near the abra station. There is on-site parking, which the Deira boarding areas do not have.
- Is Al Seef the same cruise as the Dubai Creek dhow?
- It covers the same water — the wharfage, the souks, the abra crossings — but boards from the opposite bank on a newer boat. The view is the Deira side rather than the Bur Dubai side.
- What time does the Al Seef dhow cruise sail?
- Boarding from 19:30, sailing at 20:00 and back alongside at 22:00. Arriving thirty minutes early is worth doing — the Al Seef promenade is a good half hour on its own.
- Is there a dhow cruise from Al Seef without dinner?
- Sightseeing-only sailings run at some times of year at around AED 70 per person, but the dinner cruise is the standard product and is better value. Ask when you enquire and we will tell you what is running that week.
