Boat club membership in Dubai
Boat membership in Dubai gives you discounted hours across a shared fleet without buying, berthing or maintaining a yacht. Ours starts at AED 12,000 a year for twenty-four discounted hours, priority booking at weekends, and no charge for the days you do not sail.
- From
- AED 12,000 a year
- Included hours
- 24, drawn down across the fleet

- Commitment
- Twelve months, no rollover
Owning a boat in Dubai costs more in the marina than it does on the water. Berthing, insurance, annual haul-out, engine servicing and a crew you pay whether or not you sail add up to well over AED 100,000 a year on a mid-size yacht before you have left the berth. Membership exists because most owners we know use their boat eight or nine times a year.
The arrangement is simple. You buy a block of hours at a members' rate, they sit in your account for twelve months, and you draw them down against any boat in the fleet. Weekends and sunset slots open to members two weeks before they open to anyone else, which in practice is the part people value most.
It suits families who go out monthly, companies who host clients four or five times a year, and people who have priced a boat of their own and worked out what it would actually cost. It does not suit someone chartering once — book a single charter and pay for it.

What is included
- Members' hourly rate, roughly 20 percent below the public rate
- Priority on weekend and sunset slots
- Hours usable on any boat in the fleet, not one assigned vessel
- Guest passes for friends chartering separately
- No berthing, insurance, maintenance or crew costs of any kind
Worth knowing
- Hours expire at twelve months. We will tell you in month ten if you are sitting on unused time.
- Membership is not fractional ownership — you hold no share in any vessel and carry no liability for one.
- Larger boats draw down hours at a multiple, so an hour on the 85ft is not an hour on the 48ft.

FAQ
Questions people ask
- Is there a boat club in Dubai you can join without owning a boat?
- Yes. Membership schemes give you discounted hours across a shared fleet with no vessel to buy or maintain. Ours starts at AED 12,000 a year for twenty-four hours and priority weekend booking.
- Is boat membership cheaper than owning a yacht in Dubai?
- For most people, considerably. Berthing, insurance, servicing and crew on a mid-size yacht run past AED 100,000 a year before you sail. Membership costs a fraction of that and carries none of the maintenance.
- Can I share a yacht in Dubai with other people?
- Through membership, yes — the fleet is shared and you draw down hours against it. We do not sell fractional ownership, so you hold no share in a specific boat and no liability for one.
- Do unused hours carry over?
- No. Hours expire twelve months after purchase. We flag unused time at month ten so you have a season to use it rather than a fortnight.
- Can a company hold the membership?
- Yes. The corporate tier is invoiced annually with our TRN, transferable between staff, and bookable at shorter notice — it exists for client hosting rather than for one named person.
