The 85ft costs AED 3,200 an hour against the 62ft's AED 1,400 — more than double — and the extra buys thirteen more guests, three more crew, a jacuzzi, formal dining for eighteen and a four-hour minimum instead of three. Below about twenty-five guests it is money spent on presence rather than capacity.

People compare the hourly rates, but the minimum charter length is what makes the difference material. The 62ft has a three-hour minimum, so the smallest charter is AED 4,200. The 85ft has a four-hour minimum, so the smallest is AED 12,800.
That is a factor of three on the smallest booking you can make, not a factor of two on the rate. If the budget conversation is going to happen, it happens there.
Four cabins rather than three, a saloon with formal dining for eighteen, a jacuzzi on the sun deck, a full-width swim platform, and five crew including a host whose entire job is looking after guests rather than running the boat.
That last one is the most underrated. On the 62ft the crew of three are busy; on the 85ft somebody is free to notice that a glass is empty. For client hosting or a wedding, that is what people register afterwards, more than the length.
Any group up to about twenty-two, obviously, but also groups of twenty-five where a couple of people can be moved to a different date. Team days, birthdays, family charters, anything where the point is the water rather than the venue.
The 62ft also has the better deck-to-guest ratio in practice. Twenty-two people on a 62ft feel like a party; twenty-two people on an 85ft feel like a small group in a large room, and you have paid for the room.
Above twenty-five guests, where the 62ft is genuinely full. For a wedding ceremony, where you need somewhere for the couple to change and somewhere for the ceremony that is not the same deck. For a launch or client event, where the boat is the venue and the impression is the product.
And for anything involving a served meal. The 62ft can hold catering; the 85ft has a galley a chef can work in and a table eighteen people can sit at, which is a different evening.
